Shooting Dogs
Last night I finally got to see a movie that I’ve waited a year and a half for. It was the movie we were extras in while working in Rwanda last summer, Shooting Dogs. It finally leaked out onto the internet. I was amazed that I was actually able to see myself and all of my friends who were also extras (except Sean, didn’t see him for some reason). It was cool to see a movie about Rwanda actually filmed in Rwanda (unlike Hotel Rwanda). I defiantly recognized the scenery. Other than that I didn’t like the movie that much. Tom and Adam would agree that Hotel Rwanda did a better job making you feel for the Rwandans. Nonetheless it was a great experience to be apart of the movie. They paid us, though not too much and gave us awesome food which made it really worth while. If you enjoyed Hotel Rwanda and want to see what the country really looks like then see Shooting Dogs.
